Marketing 

Stephanie Urban has over 4 years of marketing experience. From writing and editing copy to creating promotional campaigns and analyzing results, Stephanie has experience with the full marketing spectrum. Stephanie specializes in revamping and creating marketing plans to meet the goals of an organization. Skills include: E-mail Marketing and Analysis, Direct Marketing, CMS, SEO, Google Analytics, creating Business Plans, copy writing. Stephanie is currently the Online Marketing Coordinator at Ann Taylor, where she assists the e-commerce team with e-mail marketing and website campaigns.


Editorial

As the daughter of two professional journalists, Stephanie embraced writing both academically and as a hobby from a young age. After winning creative writing awards in high school, Stephanie chose an English minor to continue her writing endeavors at Illinois Wesleyan University. In college, Stephanie began an independent fashion blog, Because I Said So, in order to share her musings on style, shopping and new products. Upon moving to New York City, Stephanie's blogging experience led to a Fashion Editorial position with a NYC lifestyle and events website. Stephanie then moved on to serve as the Content Director for StyleHop.com, a leading fashion blog, where she continued to cover fashion events including New York Fashion Week.

Social Media 

On a computer since the age of 5, Stephanie Urban has always been a digital maven. She has used Twitter, LinkedIn, Ning, Facebook, and other social media sites to increase the visibility of companies including The Execu|Search Group and StyleHop.com. While social media is an evolving marketing tool that requires ongoing research and analysis, Stephanie strives to stay on the cutting edge and bring new ideas to marketing teams.

Design

Stephanie has considered art a hobby since a young age and has been able to seamlessly translate her eye for design into digital media. Her graphics have appeared on corporate websites, e-newsletters, print materials, and various other marketing collateral. Technical Skills include: InDesign, Illustrator, Quark, PhotoShop, Dreamweaver and HTML.


Education 

A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University with a major in International Business and a minor in English, Stephanie has a strong academic background to supplement her many work experiences. As a member of a national sorority, Stephanie held 2 major positions and organized independent philanthropy events including a tel-a-thon fundraiser which raised $1875 for the local Boy Scouts Troop. Stephanie also served as a member of the Illinois Wesleyan Leadership Institute and the Illinois Wesleyan Ambassador's Club, proving herself as a natural leader on campus.
